Run Buddy – Your Running Buddy ("we", "our", or "us") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application ("the App").
Run Buddy is designed to collect only the data necessary to deliver personalized training plans and improve your experience. This may include:
Your training data is stored locally on your device whenever possible. If cloud syncing or analytics are used, data is transmitted securely using industry-standard encryption. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties.
If you choose to connect Run Buddy with Apple HealthKit, we may read data such as distance, pace, and heart rate to enhance your training insights. We do not write data back to HealthKit or share this data externally.
Location data is used only for route tracking and training insights. You can disable Health or location access at any time from your device settings.
Run Buddy is not directed toward children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
You can delete your account and associated data directly in the app: open Today → tap the profile icon → Profile & Subscription → Delete account.
You can also request deletion of any stored data or account information by emailing amani@genovalabs.co with the subject line "Run Buddy Data Deletion Request."
Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data under GDPR or CCPA. Contact us for any such requests.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The updated version will be available on this page, and the “Last updated” date will reflect the latest revision.
